Nicki Minaj responds to DJ Khaled's proposal by announcing their new song "I Wanna Be With You" and her second fragrance! What's up Barbz. It's been a busy summer for Nicki she's been featured on countless hip hop tracks and there's another one to add to the list. Nicki Minaj called in to radio station Hot 97 to talk to Funk Flex about her new collaboration DJ Khaled. It seems his sincere marriage proposal video that appeared online last week was all in preparation for their new track together called "I Wanna Be With You" that also features Rick Ross and Future. So it seems wedding bells are not in Nicki Minaj's future. But it all makes sense, the fake proposal (which Khaled still alleges was serious) keeps with the song title's theme. Nicki told Fun Flex she had no idea about the proposal, "I was shocked just like the rest of the world!" and sets the record straight about their relationship, "Khaled is my brother and Khaled was not serious with that damn proposal, ya'll!" Nicki confirmed what I suspected: the proposal was all a giant PR stunt saying, "It was just another way for him to kinda give the world a glimpse on the feeling of this record." So what does the song sound like? In the new track Nicki sings the lines, "You decide, you be mine, you can come inside/ You the type that could make me prioritize/ Hit my phone it's alright". And we'll hit you guys up when the music video drops, it's being shot this week. But that's not the only Nicki surprise we have for you. Queen Barb announced yesterday via Twitter and Instagram that her second fragrance will drop this Fall, titled "Minajesty". The bottle keeps with the previous fragrance theme, being in the shape of Nicki herself. This time she chose pink hair and red top. And what does it smell like? Nicki tweeted, "#Minajesty smells like a passionate love affair. Mysterious and sexy. An unforgettable and hypnotizing scent."
