Beyonce Drops New "7/11" Music Video

Beyonce Drops New "7/11" Music Video
This is Why Beyonce is the QUEEN OF THE MUSICAL UNIVERSE!!!!
On Wednesday, she released (or someone, perhaps her, leaked) two new songs, "7/11" and "Ring Off," to preview next week's release of a deluxe version of her 2013 album, "Beyoncé." Her web site currently has portions of both songs, presumably to generate buzz for next week's release.
On Friday, she released what appears to be a low-budget video of "7/11." Beyoncé being Beyoncé, her low-budget video appears to have been filmed in a high-rise penthouse, but why quibble over details?
A dance-happy song, "7/11" boasts such happy-go-lucky lyrics as: "Foot down," "hands up," "shoulders sideways," "legs movin' side to side," "clap, clap, clap like you don't care" and "smack that, clap, clap, clap like you don't care." It's the most pro-clap song we can recall in years.
"7/11" concludes with Beyoncé boasting: "I'm fresher than you, fresher than you."
That, no doubt, she very likely is. But enough clap talk. Here for your viewing pleasure is Beyoncé's new video.

J.Cole Confirms 3rd Album Release Date & Debuts Album Trailer

J.Cole Confirms 3rd Album Release Date & Debuts Album Trailer

J. Cole Confirms Third Studio Album's Release Date
With almost no alert, J. Cole announced he's releasing his third studio album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, on Dec. 9. The Internet caught drift of a pre-order Amazon link of the album just before the announcement.
"What up? My New Album is finished. It's called 2014 Forest Hills Drive and it's very special to me. It's available everywhere on 12/9. This time I'm releasing no singles, just the album. See you in 3 weeks. Thank you for the love and support," Cole posted on Facebook on Monday, Nov. 1
The album is named after the address of Cole's childhood home in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Cole bought his home in June for reportedly $121,000.

Cole accompanied the album announcement with a 7-minute trailer in which he takes us back to his hometown and visits memorable spots such as his high school, where he spit his first freestyle, and the Round-A-Bout skating park.
"I got to this point in my career and I realized: yeah, I got a lot more dreams and I want to go further but at the same time, I don't want it if it's at the expense of my happiness. I don't want it's at the expense of my sanity or if I have to become someone who's so out of touch of what's real," he says.

The 13-song effort is available for pre-order on iTunes.

Beyonce "Haunted" in 50 Shades of Grey Trailer is Perfection

Beyonce "Haunted" in 50 Shades of Grey Trailer is Perfection

Just when you thought the newest trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey couldn’t get ANY sexier, they went and added definition of sexy, Beyonce into the mix!
The full trailer for the highly-anticipated book turned movie hit the Interwebs on Thursday night, and yes, a ton of people are loving it, but let’s not forget about the perfect inclusion of Beyonce’s song “Haunted” and how this track is making the trailer the perfection that it is. And just in case you aren’t aware for whatever reason, “Haunted” is a track off her surprise, self-titled album that she dropped in December of last year. Check it out.
Seriously how perfect is that?! The plot of the movie is so intense, and Beyonce’s equally intense song certainly does the trailer justice.
And as you might recall, when the first teaser trailer was released back in July, they also included a sexy, slowed down rendition of Beyonce’s hit song “Crazy in Love,” which, again, fit perfectly if we do say so ourselves. Plus, talk about a genius move…sucking in the Bey-hive with her babeness and turning them into instant 50 Shades fans good job people.
So between that and now “Haunted” in the new trailer, it looks like Beyonce has tons of faith in this movie, because if we know Queen B, she doesn’t include herself in anything that mediocre. And that’s a good sign for fans everywhere, because some people were nervous on how this adaptation would go. Especially after it was plagued with some early pre-production problems when Charlie Hunnam dropped out. So it looks like we can all rest easy until the movie comes out Valentine’s Day 2015.
Do you think this song fit perfectly with the trailer? Or do you think it’s kind of weird Beyonce would get involved with this movie at all? Hit the comments to get talking.

Beyonce CONFIRMED New Music In Platinum Edition Album

BeyoncéBeyonce CONFIRMED New Music In Platinum Edition Album

Well bey-hive babes we’ve got some good news and some bad news. First, the good news is it looks like the rumors about Beyonce’s new music were, mostly, true because it’s CONFIRMED that Queen B is releasing at least TWO brand new songs. REJOICE! And the bad news? None of them are the rumored collabs with Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, and Nicki Minaj. Honestly, I’m not really that sad – Beyonce solo is more than enough for me. But I’m obsessed so maybe that’s just me.
On Monday rumors were swirling that Beyonce was ready to release ANOTHER surprise album when a document leaked that appeared to confirm a track list for a possible part two of her self-titled album that dropped late last year. However, we now know that the self-titled album is getting a re-release with TWO new songs and a few new remixes of the previous songs. One that I’m personally really excited about is the “Blow” remix with Pharrell. Yeah, that’s going to be awesome.
Beyonce’s record label confirmed that the Beyoncé Platinum Edition Box will drop on November 24, and will feature two new songs titled “7/11” and “Ring Off.” In addition to that, the box set will include a DVD of her Mrs. Carter Show world tour AND a mini calendar. Um, santa are you listening…because you know what will be on my wish list this Holiday season.
While this news is SUPER exciting, I have to admit I’m a little bummed that the potential collabs didn’t actually turn out to be true. Let’s just hope that was a COMPLETE rumor, and not something that Beyonce might be withholding from us all because it got leaked. Beyonce can be very tricky about that stuff, so that could be an option. Just something to think about.
Alright, what say YOU about this Beyonce news? Are you happy for new music? Or bummed because it wasn’t what people were expecting? Share your feelings in the comments,

Beyonce To Drop 2nd Surprise Album Later This Month!!!!

Beyonce To Drop 2nd Surprise Album Later This Month!!!!

"On The Run Tour: Beyonce And Jay-Z" in Houston, Texas

Could Beyonce be readying another surprise for the music world?
Over the weekend, a photo popped up on social media that would indicate that the R&B singer has another full-length record coming on Friday, November 14. As Vulture points out, a two of the “new” songs, “Donk” and “Cherry,” were recently registered at ASCAP. Dubbed “Beyonce Volume 2,” the new album would feature 10 new tracks and a remix of “Flawless” featuring Nicki Minaj.
The picture making the rounds appears to be a standard music industry one sheet with basic info like label, street dates and tracklistings. Many have been quick to point out that the release date for the deluxe version, which features both Beyonce albums and 3 DVDs, is wrong – November 25 is a Tuesday, not a Monday.
But whether a physical addition hits shelves on a Monday or Tuesday, doesn’t really matter anymore. As she demonstrated last December with the surprise release of “Beyonce,” any day something new comes out stands to be an event. The wrong date would just be a minor typo made by someone at the label, who’s mistake was quickly blasted out and debated on the internet.
If it does ring true, it would be Beyonce’s second release in less than a year. She recently spent the summer on the road with her husband Jay Z, for their co-headlining “On the Run” tour – they concluded in Paris this past September, which became aconcert film for HBO.

Nicki Minaj Reveals Pinkprint Deluxe Cover Art

Nicki Minaj Reveals “The Pink Print” Album Cover Art!

Get ready for classy Nicki you guys! Nicki Minaj gave us a shocking Halloween treat- her brand new The Pink Print deluxe album cover art! Last night Sunday November 2nd Nicki took to her Instagram to unveil the cover. And it’s not what you might expect. But it’s everything Barbz. Nicki shared this with the caption, “Thank u to the Kanye West Team” meaning his creative agency DONDA. Hmmm. So the cover has a simplistic white background with a gritty 3D pink finger print on it. Personally I love the sleek and classy design of it. And the literal interpretation of the album NAME. But I just wish Nicki was on it too! Nicki tweeted, “Cover Art by JOE PEREZ, JENNA MARSH, BRYAN RIVERA. THANK YOU. Unveiling standard cover at another time.” So yes, this print is the deluxe cover, but let’s be real, we’re all gonna buy the deluxe copy right? And it seems we’re all in for a shock with this album as this cover is completely different than her recent “Anaconda” cover art and “Only” cover art. AM I RIGHT?! Don’t forget the album drops December 15th just in time for Santa to put that album in your stocking. But better yet Nicki is hosting the EMAs this Sunday and we’re waiting for the “Only” music videot to drop- so you know there’s a lot more Nicki Minaj news coming your way soon Barbz!

Taylor Swift announces 1989 World Tour!

Taylor Swift announces 1989 World Tour!

Taylor Swift at 'Good Morning America' in New York City on October 30th, 2014.
Yep, Taylor Swift just announced her 1989 tour and we’ve got the details!!
So obviously we all knew this would be happening, but the confirmation is still enough to make us happy on this Monday after the weekend. It was official on GMA when she said that next week the tickets will go on sale, but they’re avail right now to Amex cardholders. YEP. So let’s scroll thru the dates as I talk a bit more about the 1989 World Tour.
.
Alright, it kicks off in Louisiana on May 20, 2015 and she travels all around the south east and mid east up to Pennsylvania before she hops over the pond for a mid-US tour set of stops in the Europe. We’re talking Germany, the Netherlands and the UK throughout June before heading back to North America for a few stops in Canada – we’re talking Ottawa and Montreal, plus a few more come later in August. On a side ntoe, it looks like our all-American gal isn’t on the road for America’s birthday – we bet that she’s planning on having her Rhode Island 4th of July extravaganza – fun! K, so TS has stops all over the place including New Jersey, DC, Chi-town, Massachusetts, Seattle, Arizona, Los Angeles for 2 dates!!!, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Denver, Fardo, Minnestoa, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, Nashville, Toronto in October, followed by Nebraska, St. Louis, Dallas, Kentucky, Greensboro, Atlanta and Miami all round out October - in fact, Tampa, Florida gets a very special Halloween 2015 date.
.
Things to note! There are currently ZERO New York dates, which is definitely an issue and we know that the new ambassador to NYC won’t be passing up on a New York tour stop… so perhaps she’s tag on the performances in early November so that she’s officially wrapped before the holidays – oh and then there’s always the Dick Clark New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest – Taylor will probably perform that night. Speaking of televised performances, not sure if you heard the word yet, but our friend TaylorSwiftNation just confirmed that Taylor will be taking on “Black Space” at this year’s American Music Awards on Sunday, November 23rd – that’s on ABC, FYI. Sooo let us know your thoughts about Taylor’s World Tour and if you’re planning on hitting up one or more of the stops. Post your thoughts below,
