The Mrs.Carter Show Makes It's Way Into Your Living Room

"The Mrs.Carter Show" Comes Into Your Living Room

Beyonce dominated 2013 and it looks like this year will be no different. Her massive, international tour for the "Mrs. Carter Show" was such a spectacle that HBO has opted to turn the footage into a 10 episode show called "Beyonce:X10"

The 10-episode series will feature weekly concert performances, each four-minutes long, from Beyoncé’s Mrs. Carter world tour, which ran from April 2013 to March 2014. The “episodes” will premiere before the vampire TV series True Blood (which is in its final season) beginning on June 29 at 8:55 pm EST.

Beyoncé will perform the following songs in the clips: “Blow/Cherry,” “Drunk in Love,” “Ghost/Haunted,” “Flawless/Yoncé,” “Get Me Bodied/Baby Boy/Diva,” “Girls,” “Heaven,” “Partition,” “Why Don’t You Love Me?” and “XO.”

HBO’s Beyoncé documentary Life Is But a Dream (directed by the singer) drew 1.8 million viewers the night it premiered and grossed a total of 8.9 million viewers. It was the premium cable channel’s most-viewed music special since 2003.

Michelle Williams Releases New Gospel Single With Destiny's Child

Michelle Williams Releases New Gospel Single With Destiny's Child
PHOTO: Beyonce and Kelly Rowland have joined Destinys Child pal Michelle Williams in the music video for her song "Say Yes."
It's been nearly a decade since a Destiny's Child music video graced our screens. Well, at long last, we've got a new one—sort of. We previously reported that Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland appeared on former bandmate Michelle Williams' single "Say Yes", taken from her upcoming gospel album Journey to Freedom
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Williams revealed that the "reunion"—which came together after her groupmates heard her single and loved it—was supposed to be kept secret. That changed as soon as the trio attempted a clandestine shoot for the song's visual in a residential area:
"We heard all this commotion going on while we were filming," Williams recalls."We filmed at somebody's house, and they probably got excited and called their cousins and friends and, next thing you know, the whole town was on one street... I woke up to the news of the song being leaked and I just hate when that happens because it was an unmastered version. At the same time, I was overwhelmed by the support. I know things happen for a reason. I don't want anyone to think I'm pissed. I'm not."

Robin Thicke To Release New Album In July!

Robin Thicke To Release New Album In July!
Less than a year after scoring his first No. 1 album ever with "Blurred Lines," Robin Thicke will release a new album on July 1 through Star Trak/Interscope Records.
Thicke has already released the single "Get Her Back" from the album, debuting the song live at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards and performing it again on "The Voice" on Tuesday (May 20). The song is believed to be a plea to Thicke's estranged wife, Paula Patton.

Little is known about Thicke's next album aside from the release date and lead single -- a title, track list and artwork have yet to be revealed. The year-long gap between Thicke's "Blurred Lines" album, released last July 12, and his upcoming full-length marks the fastest turn-around for an album in the R&B singer's career.
Thicke's "Blurred Lines" single, featuring Pharrell and T.I., earned four awards at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night, including Top Hot 100 Song. The 2013 Song of the Summer was Thicke's first single to top the Hot 100 chart.

Usher,Drake & Trey Songz Set To
Perform @ 2014
BET Awards
usher good kisser 3
BET unveils a few names from the BET Awards 2014 performance lineup including Jennifer Hudson, Usher and Trey Songz.
Each has a new album releasing later this year with Trey’s Trigga arriving just a few days later on July 1.
The soirée, hosted by Chris Rock, goes live from the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 29th at 8 p.m. ET.
Other confirmed performers include Drake, Pharrell Williams, Lil Wayne and Lionel Richie.
Last month, the nominees for the ceremony were unveiled. Beyoncé and Jay Z lead with five each. Pharrell and August Alsina trail behind with four.
Rap princess Iggy Azalea, whose new single “Fancy” currently occupies the No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100, goes against BET Awards veteran Nicki Minaj for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist.
(I’d say that the odds are likely in the favor of Ms. Azalea since Ms. Minaj won the award for the past four years and hasn’t released any new music since 2012. But then again … politics.)
Be sure to tune in to the BET Awards on Sunday, June 29.
