Rumor has it Katy Perry's first "Prism" single is called.... Roar! As you probably know by now colorful singer Katy Perry announced her new album title 'Prism' on the side of a giant gold semi truck on Sunday. According to the big rig the album is set to drop October 22, but what about a first single from the exciting new album? I've been hearing it will come sometime in this month and the first song is called... "ROAR"! Or is it "Rawr"? Either way, I like it and can't wait to hear Katy roar her little heart out. Further confirmation of the song title is from confirmed collaborator pal Dr. Luke who tweeted last week out of the blue, "and the new song starts with an "R"..." So I just have to ask myself, what will Katy be 'roaring about? Because a lots happened to the singer since her Teenage Dream album days. Not only did Katy divorce comedian Russell Brand, but she's dated fellow singer John Mayer, and had her own movie come out. And do cats roar? Katy's beloved fan base, the Katycats, know that her first two fragrances were named "Purr" and "Meow!" So this new single title fits in with Katy's feline theme! Not to mention Katy's songwriting pal Bonnie McKee has said her new album is more "grown-up" so is this Katy's transformation from a kitty to a lioness? Hmm. Speaking of Bonnie McKee, the two wrote another song for Katy's album called "Double Rainbow" and Katy has confirmed another song title is "Bad Photographs". So the moment of truth from you guys: what do you think of the new song title? Keep in mind, the "Roar" title is not confirmed by Katy yet, but I think it's just a matter of time, or days.
