HBO Lands Beyonce/Jay-z "On The Run" Concert Special

In case you didn't know, everything Jay Z & Beyonce does is a movie,and the coming attractions for their upcoming HBO special follows suit. The 25-second clip offers a theatrical tease for their "On The Run Tour" concert experience that will air on the cable network.

"This is a major musical event that belongs on HBO," Micheal Lombardo, president of the network's programming said "It's going to be a night to remember."  

 The On The Run Tour, which features 19 dates in the U.S. and two in Paris, marks the couple's first time touring together on the same bill. It began June 26 in Miami.The news comes as Beyonce is currently appearing in "Beyonce:X10" a 10-episode series of four-minute segments debuting before new episodes of True Blood. She previously appeared in her feature documentary Life Is But a Dream, which aired in February 2013.

Jay Z's Picasso Baby: A Performance Art Film premiered on HBO in August 2013. HBO will be exclusively capturing their dates at Paris' Stade de France, the special will debut this September. Watch the HBO "On The Run Tour" trailer down below.

The music royality duo released a video of rehearsal footage from their summer show, showing a bit of the stage and dance preparations for their opening show in Miami, and a lot of Jay and Bey enjoying each other's company. Beyoncé, who was just named Forbes world's most influential celebrity, has just come from a year of touring with her Mrs. Carter show, but shows no sign of slowing down.Many of her dance moves and dancers including The Les Twins appear to have been saved for her summer jaunt. Jay Z, who spent last summer touring with Justin Timberlake, is also seen getting excited to take the stage opposite his wife and longtime love.The 2-minute clip even includes a closing applause from their daughter Blue Ivy.

Common has spoken about the album and his new deal with Artium/Def Jam. 

"I'm honored to team up with No I.D. and be a part of the Artium and Def Jam family," he said in a press release.‎ "Creating this album and signing to Def Jam feels like a new beginning for me. I feel like a new artist because I created this album with the purpose to give back to my city and to the culture of Hip Hop. Def Jam is part of the foundation of hip hop and being able to work with No I.D. was returning to my foundation now with new energy and new hunger."
