Chris Brown's 'X' Album And 'Fan Of A Fan 2' Mixtape Both Arriving This Year

Chris Brown is doubling up on releases this year, finally confirming a drop date for his long delayed X album, and announcing that he and Tyga will roll out their Fan of a Fan 2 mixtape this summer. As is often the case with Breezy though, there's at least one big hiccup: he's accusing his former manager of leaking music. Chris has been teasing his album for about a year now, dropping a couple of singles here and there last year, but it will finally arrive this spring "'X' is by far my best album yet.... Setting the date for MAY 5," he tweeted this weekend, along with cover art.After that, he and Tyga will release Fan of a Fan 2, the follow-up to their successful 2010 mixtape, which spawned hits like "Deuces." They kicked things off by dropping the new singles "Bitches" and "Do It" this week. It certainly seems like Brown is setting the stage for a big year, after completing his stint in rehab, but he's also dealing with a pretty big road bump. He followed the album announcement by sharing on Twitter that his former manager has been up to some shady business.

"My old manger is leaking my NEW album music and refuses to give me my back up hard drive to sabotage my album. That's F'd up G!" he wrote, later deleting that initial tweet and adding, "Snakes in the grass..... Just stay positive."

Well, if his entire album doesn't hit the Internet months ahead of May 5, producer Eric Bellinger, who crafted the singles "Fine China" and "Love More," thinks there's plenty to look forward.

"I feel like Chris is dope because he's really, really versatile,"And he's just growing a fan base to where his sound could be international, it could be 'hood, it could be pop, it could be R&B, it could be rap; so it's definitely a bunch of different sounds... he's been perfecting them."

Lil Boosie's first post-prison press conference is set to air live March 10 via BoosieSpeaks.com.

On March 5, when Boosie was released from prison, NOLA published a report saying Lil Boosie would partake in a March 10 press conference. The rapper, who was incarcerated due to drug charges included an Atlantic Records logo in the invitation. 

"He will absolutely be there," an Atlantic Records representative said in the NOLA report. "He'll be speaking to the press for the first time ... after his release."

Despite the logo being included in the press conference invitations, the Atlantic Records rep would not confirm or deny Boosie's signing to the label. 

"(Lil Boosie) is actually going to be clearing all that stuff up for everybody there, so I'm going to let him relay that information," the representative said, as per NOLA.

Yeezy's tour may have just wrapped but fear not! He has dropped a flashy 30 second trailer for his Yeezus concert inspired movie on his website, take a peek at this genius-ness. The film was directed by Hype Williams.
The pair also worked on Ye's "Gold Digger" music video and "Stronger" video. The preview shows footage of his Yeezus tour, including laser beams, a creepy animal on the mountain, the epic futuristic mountain, the creepy bejeweled masks, those loyal maidens, and the images are interspersed with running horses, snowy fields and nature shorts. There are no other details about the film at this time regarding release date, where we'll see it, length or anything else. But knowing Kanye, it's going to be something unconventional.
